No need to have your bags packed and out in the hall at 10pmthe night before. We got up, had breakfast looking out across a Dover that was as dreary as when we left and went back down and packed our bags. Then, after Al had shown Sharon and Russ our cabin, and we said our final goodbyes, we just walked off the ship. NCL have got so many things right. Straight into a cab and up to Ashford to catch the Eurostar. For those interested it cost just under 40 pounds. Called dad to check how mum's op went. Bought a two day Paris Museum pass. All good and physio had already started on day two. Eurostar was a great fast train experience. Why did Australia not invest in fast trains years ago instead of only considering it (again) now? Weather was very ordinary the whole way into Paris and it remained that way for the rest of the afternoon, only clearing as it went dark. Getting a cab was easy as and even with my very rudimentary French we were at Domingo's building in maybe five minutes. Codes worked and apart from an issue with the key (my issue), it was just not an issue ...
